Comfortable Stay with Friendly Service
Our family enjoyed a cozy suite with a good view of playful hillside animals. The heated outdoor pool provided a relaxing atmosphere after skiing. The attentive staff, especially at the restaurant, made every meal enjoyable. For families, consider bringing indoor games for kids during rainy days!

great family experience with minor drawbacks
We really enjoyed our spacious family suite with enough room for all five of us without feeling cramped. The family-friendly atmosphere was upgraded with the charm of watching the hillside animals and the excellent indoor pool facilities with a fun escape for the kids. We also appreciated the buffet options, with our children especially loving the selections available.
The location requires some effort to reach the main attractions, especially for families with small children.

It was just a decent option for a momentary pause in Zell am See with best value. The kids enjoyed the hotel's pool every day, a real highlight. Bring some board games for those rainy afternoons.

The hotel offered a relaxing atmosphere with beautifully modern family suites that provided plenty of space. The noise from the hallways could disrupt the quiet ambiance at times.

Enjoyed the large family-oriented spaces that cater well to kids, especially the vibrant playground, albeit uncovered. The wellness facilities, including the indoor pool, offered a solid spot for relaxation, although often crowded-a peaceful swim likely requires early hours.
The location is a hike from the main attractions. An uphill trek of about 12-15 minutes from town isn't ideal for families with little ones. The family sauna is too small and often overcrowded, which detracted from our relaxation time. Dining could use an upgrade as the buffet selections feel limited and are often not refilled during service hours, leaving us scrambling for options before mealtimes end. The absence of air conditioning made evenings somewhat uncomfortable in warm weather, forcing us to keep windows open to get easy, which allowed corridor noise to seep in.

Pleasant Stay Despite Minor Hiccups
Our family enjoyed the spacious layout of our room with fine hillside views. The indoor pool offered fun after a long day exploring. Enjoy breakfast but avoid peak times for a quieter experience. Don't miss the vibrant playground for kids-it's a great spot to let them unwind!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Waldhof. The spacious family suite provided a perfect retreat with fine views of the hillside, where playful goats and charming animals grazed. The delicious variety of meals was a highlight, catering well to both parents and kids. Although the indoor pool experienced crowds, it still served as a good escape after a day of exploring the beautiful region around Zell am See.

The hotel's clean and well-maintained surroundings were excellent. The food selection at breakfast offered a great variety, and the buffets at dinner were always fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the Apres ski snacks in the afternoon-soup, meats, and delicious cakes. The indoor swimming pool was a pleasure to unwind in after a long day on the slopes. The ski-in/ski-out access was super convenient, great to ski right back to our accommodation. I did find the mattress in our room too bouncy, as it felt quite outdated with springs poking through. The noise insulation wasn't the best either. We were often disturbed by the sounds from the hallway in the mornings. It would also be nice if there were more options for snacks outside of meal times, as the all-inclusive package felt somewhat limited in that regard. I appreciated the generous size of our family suite and the beautiful view of the slopes.
